Within the framework of the purpose-orientated program of development of food wholesale trade in Moscow for 2005-2007, the companies of the horticultural complex of Altufievo OJSC and Viktoria CJSC provide for building of up-to-date Class-A warehouse buildings, the press-service of the department of food supplies of Moscow reports to the REGNUM correspondent.
According to the department, building of the abovesaid warehouse premises will enable considerable increase of supply turnover of the companies, and will significantly widen the range of foodstuffs sold by them. Moreover, on the basis of Altufievo OJSC a wholesale distribution center offering a wide range of foodstuffs, whose main objective is provision of foodstuffs for socially-orientated stores, neighbourhood retailers, and retail chain outlets, is being established. Pilot projects of operation of the horticultural complex companies of the city as distribution centers were executed in 2006 by following six companies: Viktoria, Demetra, Krasnaya Presnya, Kuzminskoe, Perovskoe and OPK Zelenogradskiy.
Operation of the distribution centers and widening the range of their services has by now enabled increase of contracts concluded with various retail organizations interested in supply of high-quality goods, says Moscow government department.
