In the beginning of August, “Alan Invest” company, the prime contractor, will start the first order of the construction project. The project is executed on the basis of the operating Victoriya warehousing CJSC occupying the area of 20.5 ha. The object is located in the industrial area adjacent to Schelkovskoe highway, with no limitations for motor vehicles entry. The advantage of the area is the proximity of Moscow belt railway branch and the prospective fourth hoist ring. The design work on the project was done by German Obermeyer company (Munich), which has large experience in the design of the alike logistics areas.
According to Dmitry Parton, Victoriya City Distributing Centre Marketing Director, the first order of the construction project encompasses the construction of two Grade A dry climate storage terminals of 17,000 and 24,000 square meters respectively. The cost of this stage is 1.3B rubles. The Customer, represented by the shareholders of the warehouse complex, is investing 77% of the sum. 23% is loaned by Moscow Government and Foundation of Assistance in Socio-Economic Development of Central Federal Districts of Russian Federation on easy terms.
The second order of the project comprises three buildings of the modern Wholesale hypermarket based on European technologies. Now, the specialists are studying the experience of French, Belgium, and Dutch wholesale markets and food exchanges. The investments for this stage will account for some 2B rubles. It will be implemented in 2007-2009.
