Victoriya CJSC is the successor of Bauman Wholesale and Retail Horticultural Association founded in 1954. The enterprise occupies over 20 ha in the industrial zone of Moscow Eastern district. Currently, the complex is engaged in storing, keeping, handling, and sales of horticultural foodstuff and related products, and also vegetable processing. The productive capacity of the hypermarket allows for bringing in, storing, and selling 100,000 tons of merchandise, including 15,000 tons of cold products. According to Moscow Government Decree #820-ÏÏ, Victoriya Closed Corporation was included into the list of commercial firms of "mainstay enterprise” status and since then has worked according to the General agreement with Moscow Food Resource Department. Starting 2003, Victoriya CJSC has worked as a wholesale hypermarket, and in October 2006 it becàme a distributing centre. At the wholesale hypermarket, ongoing quality control is maintained by the specialists of Moscow State Inspection of Quality of Agricultural Produce, Feedstock, and F oods. Now, over 300 large businesses of the Capital are our regular customers. We are actively marketing our services to attract new groups of customers. Having studied European practices of food logistics and basing on the resolution of the State Target Program on the Development of Food Wholesaling in the City of Moscow in 2005-2007, we are creating a technology intensive Grade A distributing centre, at which our specialists ensure that your most complex tasks are solved. The project was approved by the Financial Council of Foundation of Assistance in Socio-Economic Development of Central Federal Districts of Russian Federation and considered socially significant for Moscow and Central Federal District in general.
